These Trends Are No Longer In Fashion In 2023

Utility Overalls

Utility overalls have long been the coolest and most practical part in the wardrobe, after all, you can be perfectly dressed in a few seconds with the casual jumpsuits and save yourself lengthy styling decisions. Nevertheless, this fashion trend will take a back seat in 2023. Because the utility look, which is characterized by functional elements inspired by workwear, simply no longer corresponds to the zeitgeist and is therefore taking a break in 2023.

We’ll wear this fashion trend instead in 2023: relaxed jeans

Jeans, on the other hand, will remain the fashion favorite in the new year 2023 and now come in a relaxed look. That sums up the jeans trend towards wide jeans, because “relaxed” in this context stands for casual silhouettes of pants, but also shirts and skirts made of denim fabrics. This looks very modern and ensures a casual, relaxed look that trendsetters in 2023 will not be able to avoid.

Chinos

Chino pants are among the immortal fashion classics. In 2023, these will still be considered out. Pants with shortened legs, which are usually worn in muted nuances such as beige or khaki and are characterized by a straight cut, no longer look contemporary in 2023 and quickly become stuffy or old-fashioned. This fashion trend can therefore be safely discarded when cleaning the New Year.

Kimonos

Have you decided to invest more thought in your styling in 2023? Then you can sort out outdated fashion trends like the kimono from the closet in the first step. The cloaks were once cool and made of velvet could even be worn at parties – in 2023, however, they simply no longer harmonize with the current fashion trends and look as if they have fallen out of time. Unfortunately, kimonos are over and out in the new year.

We’ll wear this fashion trend instead: knee-length dresses and skirts:

Kimonos played around the legs and knees with their hems – and that’s exactly what dresses and skirts are taking over for the old fashion trend in 2023! On the catwalk, we observed a new, exciting length that, after a series of extreme looks (ultra-short micro-minis vs. floor-length maxi hems), now hits the middle. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s a knitted dress, pencil or denim skirt: the new knee length not only gives our favorite looks for 2023 a modern, but also decidedly elegant touch that even works in the office.

Pink

2022 was considered the year of bright trend colors – pink has become extremely popular over the past few months and can be admired non-stop in shop windows. But the pink wave has long since reached its peak – which is why this fashion trend is on the wane and will disappear in 2023. Instead, new trend colors are announced again, because …

This is the fashion trend we’ll wear instead in 2023: Green

Green promises to be the new pink in 2023! Very present on the catwalks between Paris and Milan, the green fashion trend promises to give blouses, dresses, jackets and even pants suits a trend-conscious touch in the new year. The stronger the green, the better, by the way, because bright nuances will continue to set the tone, while muted nuances will be used less often.
